    Greetings, adventurers!

    This forum is dedicated to your brilliant ability and spell conjuring skills – while we have dozens of ideas waiting to be implemented, we are positive bright minds in the community will have awesome ideas we would never have thought of. To submit a new ability or spell, whether for enemies or allies, all you need to do is open a new topic and describe your idea both in terms of fluff and concept, as well as the mechanics you decided on. Other players as well as devs will discuss those ideas and if possible, polish them up towards inclusion in the game.

     

    Important disclaimer – while ideally we would implement every solid idea, as you well know resources are limited and there is also quite a bit we have not shared with about our plans – features that might make some abilities less relevant. However, we will do our best to implement the most awesome and fitting ideas, and encourage you to share as many as your creative mind allows.

     

    We’re including a basic format here for you to use in your submissions to make it even more likely we’ll be able to translate your idea into in-game assets.

     

    Ability Name:

    Ability Description: The core of your idea, what the ability does and its awesome fluffy description that will get everyone excited about it. Also feel free to include how it looks like / what kind of visual effects you had in mind when imagining it.

    Class (If applicable): Ranger / Paladin / Mage / Savage

    Cooldown (Optional): None / Short / Long (Or specify turn length)

    Cast Target: Self / Allies / Enemies / Objects / Tile / Any (Can choose multiple)

    Can Affect: Self / Allies / Enemies / Objects / Tiles / Any (Can Choose Multiple)

    Effects (Optional):

      Damage caused?
      Freeze / Burn / Curse / Poison / Blind / other buff or debuff duration and effect?
      Physics effects like being pushed?
      Is this ability cone shaped, a circular area of effect or a single target skill?

    This is where you can break down the stats and precise behavior for your new ability.

     

    You may also add the following files:

    Sound Effect

      for your new ability, however you need to create it yourself or supply record of where it came ensuring us that it is allowed to be used from its creator. Otherwise we cannot legally use it in the game.

    Icon Image

      to round up your idea with a visual representation. A draft for the icon’s background may be used:

    Ability Name:Flail

    Ability Description: Savage can pick you nearby object or character, similar to lift, and then use it/them to flail about hitting nearby enemies and stunning them for one turn. With enemies closing in on all sides and panic rising the Savage reverts to their most base instincts and grabs the nearest thing or person and swings them around in a wide arc. The uncontrolled nature of the attack does not allow the savage to deal heavy damage but all with the area of effect are taken back by the ferocity of the Savage and can only stare dumbfounded for one turn.

    Class (If applicable): Savage

    Cooldown (Optional): Long

    Cast Target: Self / Any

    Can Affect: Self / Allies / Enemies

    Effects (Optional):

    Damage caused?
    Stun 1 turn with minimal physical damage.
    Physics effects like being pushed?
    Chance to push those in the area of effect back 1-2 tiles.

    Ability Name: Illusionary Barrel

    Ability Description: With their ally in peril and unable to act the Mage congers up an illusionary barrel to provide cover for a one turn. This is a desperate last throw of the dice to try to save an ally caught out in the open.

    Class (If applicable): Mage

    Cooldown (Optional): Long

    Cast Target: Tile

    Can Affect: Tile

    Effects (Optional):
    Provides cover as if it were a real barrel.
    Damage caused?
    The sheer energy required to make their illusion solid means the Mage has to draw on their own life force and takes 1 point of damage.

    Awesome stuff Bardon!
    Could you copy each of them into new topics in this forum though? That way each ability can get attention and be discussed in depth rather than overlap here.
